"We're going to be cake."

Maybe your oven is inhabited by rodents, or maybe you just don't have an oven. Whichever the case may be, neither can stop you from having your cake and eating it too. That is, if you have a microwave.

You will need:
* Microwave safe casserole dish and cover that fit in your microwave
* container of frosting- chocolate is most lava-like
* box of cake mix and back-of-box ingredients
* large mixing bowl
* spoon for mixing

Directions:

Warning: The first time I made this cake there was a bit of an eruption. As long as it stays covered, or you are willing to wipe down the microwave, you should be all set.

Start by scooping the frosting into the bottom of the microwavable dish. Then in a separate mixing bowl, mix together the boxed dry ingredients with the oil, water, and eggs. Make sure you crack the eggs first into smaller separate dish, this way you avoid playing a hide-and-seek game with eggshells.

Once the mixture is stirred and smooth, pour it over the frosting. Cover the batter, lick the spoon, and cook on high for 10 minutes.

Finally cut it up, spoon it out and enjoy! Remember a microwaved cake is not a fancy cake: manners can take the back seat when you eat.
