Art fuses with science: Guphi  exhibits at Trustman

On view now at the Trustman Art Gallery is the work of Simmons alum Guhapriya Ranganathan, "Regeneration and Transformation: Recent Drawings and Prints". The exhibit is an infusion of art, science, spirituality and philosophy, molecular biology, cartography, and Indian heritage: a culmination of a lifetime of experience. (0) comments

The new poetry collection, Intrinsic Night, by Joshua Gage and J.E. Stanley, is a commentary on its format. With each poem written as a cinquain, a highly stylized form of poetry similar to a haiku. The first line has two syllables, the second four, the third six, the fourth eight, while the fifth circles around again to two. (5) comments

Lately, there has been commotion down Bolyston Street and Brookline Avenue. Detail cops in neon greens direct traffic as large trailers take up parking lots around Fenway Park, or tents pop up in the Burger King parking lot. It's not road work which is clogging traffic in the morning. (0) comments
